Christian Christmas Poems

A song was heard at Christmas To wake the midnight sky, A Saviour's birth, and peace on earth, And praise to God on high. The angels sing at Christmas With all the hosts above, And still we sing the newborn King, His glory and His love.

*****************

Bright Christmas Stars shine on high, Golden stars in the wintery sky; Christmas candles in windows bright, Sends greetings into the night. While in our hearts the Christmas flame, Glows with a love like His who came; The infant Christ of lowly birth, To bring good will and peace to earth.

*****************

Sometimes Christmas is just overwhelming, it seems, As we rush around buying up stuff. We spend without end, and we rack up those bills, But it feels like it's never enough.

*****************

Christmas will always be for us A time to reflect on Christ, The gift God gave to all the world Was the gift of His life

*****************

Starry nights so still and blue, Good friends calling out to you, Life, so fact, will always slow.. For dreams of Christmas long ago.

*****************

Christmas isn't showy gifts Or glittering decoration; It's honoring our Savior, Jesus Christ In humble adoration. It's serving those less fortunate, Meeting their needs before our own; It's making sure at Christmas time That no one is alone. It's taking what we would have spent On things that no one needs, And using it to help someone With service and good deeds. So let's remember Christmas is About our Savior's birth; That's the way to happiness, The way to peace on earth.

*****************

What is Christmas without Jesus Christ? It's a holiday full of stuff. Money and stress, teaching kids greed, Some people are saying "Enough!" "Love one another," our Savior said. It's all about love, not things. Let's teach our children to serve, and create The real joy the true Christmas brings.

*****************

We celebrate this joyous time, Reflecting on His birth Not born in a mansion, but a stable As if He had no worth For this is the only reason that we Should celebrate this day, To become focused on anything else, Would take the meaning away So let's arise with joy in our hearts And share it with everyone The meaning of Christmas will always be The birth of Jesus – God's son

*****************

As we delight in this holiday With its bright and special pleasure, We pray to remember all year round That You are the only true treasure.

*****************

Christmas came, and all the gifts Were gladly given to every child. The little brother opened his gift, And with joy, he really went wild. "Look, Sister! Jesus does hear When I get on my knees and pray. I have a big piece of chocolate For my special Christmas gift today!" Little brother went to the teacher. He humbly got on his knees to pray. He asked Jesus Christ to save him. He received Jesus that very day.

*****************

Christmas is forever,
not for just one day,
for loving, sharing,
giving, are not to put away
like bells & lights and tinsel,
in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others
is good you do yourself.

*****************

If we practiced Jesus every way,
It'd be like Christmas every day;
If we, like Him, were meek and mild
And loved each woman, man and child,
If we'd read our Bible, it'd remind us,
So that every single day would find us
More and more in sweet accord
With our sweet Jesus--Master, Lord.
Then every day that we're alive
Would be like December 25.

*****************

Jesus Christ was born this day
So many years before
He came a servant to the lost,
Though he was Lord of Lords
We celebrate this joyous time,
Reflecting on His birth
Not born in a mansion, but a stable
As if He had no worth
He came so He could identify
With the human heart of man
And gave His life as a sacrifice,
Offering a better plan.

*****************

God paints the clouds
A bright golden hue,
The earth lush and green
The sky softer blue,
But His most precious color
Is the deep crimson red,
That flowed from Christ's side
His feet, hands and head.

***************

One day I will die.
I will sit with God the Father and God the Son.
I will be free of pain.
I will be free of temptation.
I will be free of sin.
I will be free of Satan's lies.
I will live forever.
I will be home.

***************

Christmas is a special time.
To reflect on Jesus Christ.
The wonder of His lowly birth.
Brings meaning to our lives.

There really is no other reason.
We celebrate this day.
The birth of God's precious son.
And the life He willingly gave.

*****************

Did Mary know His future.
And who He really was?
Did she know the price He'd pay.
Upon the blood-stained cross?
Oh a mother's heart must ache.
To see her first born son.
Hanging from a wooden cross.
Rejected by everyone.

*****************

The son she brought forth.
Called Holy and righteous.
Blessed Prince of Peace.
Forever there to guide us.
Did she know that Jesus.
Is the name above all names?.
That no one else can save us.
And take away our shame.

*****************

The baby Jesus got gifts on this day.
Because, like any child, He loved to play.
And so God wants to share this special joy.
With every girl and boy.

Believe God loves you as your parents do,
And takes great joy in giving gifts to you.
Live well and love, and evergreen like me,
You'll live eternally.

*****************

Doubts and fears that so oppress thee.
Jesus knows;
Vain regrets that will distress thee.
Jesus knows.

Lonely hours from loved ones parted.
Loss, that leaves thee broken-hearted.
And those tears that memory started.
Jesus knows.

Yes, thy very grief and sorrow.
Jesus knows.
From this thought sweet solace borrow.
Jesus knows.

He has promised not to fail thee.
Never leave thee nor forsake thee.
Oh to trust in Him completely.
Jesus Knows!

*****************

Glory ever be to Jesus.
God's own well belovèd Son.
By His grace He hath redeemed us.
"It is finished," all is done.

Saved by grace through faith in Jesus.
Saved by His own precious blood.
May we in His love abiding.
Follow on to know the Lord.

Oh the weary days of wand'ring.
Longing, hoping for the light.
These at last all lie behind us.
Jesus is our strength and might.

*****************

A gift from God, Jesus truly is.
A blessing from heaven, so that we may live.

I thank thee O Father, for sending Him to us.
And in His words we live and will always put our trust.

Through Him you may have life and protection too.
From the evil one who desires to devour you.

I say this to thee all, so it maybe well with thee.
Accept Jesus as the Christ of God and listen to what He has to say to thee.

*****************

A light shines brightly, brighter than the stars.
A guiding light of righteousness, to inspire from afar.

Grace and truth bares upon Him and upon His name.
The name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus is His name.

Sent by God our Father, to guide and save us all.
A knight in shining armor, shining above us all.

Glorious is the kingdom, heaven is the name.
Glory to Jesus and the Holy Father, your kingdom shall always remain.

Thank you my loving Shepherd, for being there for me today.
Glory to Lord Jesus, Glory to thy name!.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !.
